Content Policy

GlassHouse, Inc. (“Company”) provides a marketing and sales solution designed specifically for home service businesses, enabling them to streamline operations, enhance customer engagement, and drive growth. (the “Platform”).  

The words “you” and “your” refer to you as a user of the Platform, including registered users and employees, contractors, or agents of Company customers.  

This Content Policy (this “Policy”) describes activities that are prohibited in connection with your use of our services and the Platform. This Policy should be read in conjunction with the Company’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By posting content on the website, Platform, or our services, you agree to abide by this Policy. Content includes any written, photographic, audio, video, or other content, including:

  1. Writing: Messaging, descriptions, profile pages, feedback,  and messages to GlassHouse or other website and Platform users.

  2. Imagery: Photos and videos uploaded to the website or Platform.

The following is prohibited by any user of our services and Platform: 

  1. USER CONTENT LICENSE. By posting, submitting, or uploading any content to the website, Platform, or our services, you grant Company a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, irrevocable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, analyze, distribute, publicly display, and otherwise use such content for the operation, improvement, protection, and development of the Platform and services. This license includes any data, metadata, insights, or outputs derived from or generated through the use of artificial intelligence or other automated systems. Company may retain and use your content, including derived or AI-generated outputs, even after your access to the Platform ends or your account is terminated, consistent with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.


  2. WEBSITE AND PLATFORM USAGE. You may not use any of our websites, the Platform, or our services in the following ways:

  1. In any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website, Platform, or our services or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of them;

  2. Modify, translate, adapt, or otherwise create derivative works or improvements, whether or not patentable, of the websites, Platform, or our services; 

  3. Reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, decode, or otherwise attempt to derive or gain access to the source code of the websites, Platform, our services, or any part thereof; 

  4. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any website, Platform, or service account, computer systems or networks associated with Company, the website, Platform, or our services;

  5. Obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through the website, Platform, or our services by any means not intentionally made available or provided by Company;

  6. Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process or means to access the website, Platform, or our services for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material;

  7. Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful;

  8. Attack the website, Platform, or our services via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack; or

  9. Impersonate or attempt to impersonate Company, a Company employee, another user, or any other person or entity (including, without limitation, by using email addresses associated with any of the foregoing), or otherwise misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authorization to use the Platform.

  1. HARASSMENT, BULLYING, DEFAMATION AND THREATS: You may not post or upload any materials, that harass, bully, defame or threaten any specific individual.

  1. HATEFUL CONTENT: GlassHouse has a zero tolerance policy for any materials that constitute, in our sole discretion, harassment, racism, obscene content, discrimination or any other offensive content of any kind.  At our sole discretion, we may suspend, terminate or permanently ban your access to the website, Platform, or our services for any violation of this zero-tolerance policy.  Additionally, you may not post or upload any materials, that promote self-harm.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: You may not post or upload any materials that infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including any copyrighted or trademarked materials, on the website, Platform, or our services.  For more information on intellectual property, please visit Company’s Terms and Conditions.

  1. ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES: You may not post or upload any materials that are, or promote activities that are, illegal or are against the laws and regulations of the jurisdictions in which you operate, do business, or access the website, Platform, or our services.

  1. TELEMARKETING, SMS, AND CALLING COMPLIANCE. You may not use the website, Platform, or our services to send SMS messages, place phone calls, or otherwise contact individuals in violation of any applicable telemarketing or communications laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (“TCPA”), Telemarketing Sales Rule (“TSR”), state “mini-TCPA” laws, Do Not Call (“DNC”) rules, or any other law requiring prior express consent. You are solely responsible for ensuring that all recipients of your communications have provided the legally required permissions, consents, and opt-ins before being contacted through the Platform. You may not upload or process any phone numbers, contact lists, or personal data for which you do not have valid documented consent. You may not engage in caller ID spoofing, unsolicited mass messaging, or any other prohibited communications practice.


  2. PERSONAL INFORMATION AND HIPAA: You may not post, upload, or process any materials that contain personally identifiable information, sensitive personal information, or confidential information unless you have obtained all legally required rights and consents from the individual to whom such information relates. Sensitive personal information includes, without limitation, financial account numbers, government-issued identifiers, biometric data, precise geolocation information, and information regarding children under applicable law. You may not use the website, Platform, or our services to collect, store, or process any protected health information subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), or any similar federal, state, or international health-data laws. The Platform is not designed to support or process protected health information, and any attempt to do so is strictly prohibited. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform complies with all privacy, consent, and data-protection laws applicable to your business.

  1. ALCOHOL, DRUGS, WEAPONS:  You may not post or upload any materials that offer goods or services that are related to alcohol, drugs, or weapons. 

  1. TERRORIST ORGANIZATIONS: You may not post or upload any materials that support or fund, or offer a membership in, a terrorist organization.


  2. AI MISUSE. You may not use any artificial intelligence features or tools made available through the website, Platform, or our services to generate unlawful, misleading, discriminatory, harmful, or otherwise prohibited content under this Policy. You may not use the Platform to attempt to reverse-engineer, extract training data from, circumvent safeguards of, or otherwise interfere with any AI models or automated systems integrated into the Platform. You remain solely responsible for ensuring that all AI-generated outputs you use or publish comply with applicable laws and this Policy.

  1. MISCELLANEOUS: The following content is also prohibited:

    1. Unlawful advertising, spam, or mass-distributed commercial content, including content sent without the appropriate consent required under the TCPA, TSR, state mini-TCPA laws, or other applicable regulations.

    2. Content that is fictitious or misrepresents true events and experiences.

    3. Spam, unwanted contact, or content that is shared repeatedly in a disruptive manner.

    4. Content that endorses or promotes illegal or harmful activity, or that is sexually explicit, violent, graphic, threatening, or harassing.

    5. Content that includes another person’s private or confidential information, including content that is sufficient to identify a listing’s location.

  1. MONITORING CONTENT AND MATERIALS. 

    1. We have the right to:

      1. Remove or refuse to post any materials or products for any or no reason at our sole discretion.

      2. Take any action with respect to any materials or products that we deem necessary or appropriate in our sole discretion, including if we believe that such materials or products violate this Policy or the Company’s Terms and Conditions (including any content standards), infringe any intellectual property right or other right of any person or entity, threaten the personal safety of users of the website, Platform, our services, or could create liability for Company.

      3. Disclose your identity or other information about you to any third party who claims that material or products posted by you violate their rights, including their intellectual property rights or their right to privacy.

      4. Take appropriate legal action, including, without limitation, referral to law enforcement, for any illegal or unauthorized use of the website, Platform, or our services.

      5. Terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the website, Platform, or our services for any or no reason, including without limitation, any violation of this Policy.

      6. Without limiting the foregoing, we have the right to fully cooperate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or other information of anyone posting any materials or products on or through the website, Platform, or our services.

    2. We do not undertake to review material or products before it is posted on the website, Platform, or our services, and cannot ensure prompt removal of objectionable material or products after it has been posted. Accordingly, we assume no liability for any action or inaction regarding transmissions, communications or content provided by any user or third party. We have no liability or responsibility to anyone for performance or nonperformance of the activities described in this section.


  2. DONE-FOR-YOU SERVICES. If you engage Company to operate or manage the Platform on your behalf (“Done-For-You Services”), you remain solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and permissible use of any data, content, contact lists, or materials you provide. Company may review, refuse to process, or remove any content that violates this Policy, the Terms of Service, or applicable law. Company does not assume responsibility for confirming whether your uploaded or provided data was obtained lawfully; that responsibility remains exclusively with you.


  3. Our determination of whether a violation of this Policy or the Company’s Terms of Service has occurred will be final and binding, and any actions taken with respect to enforcing this Policy or the Terms of Service, including taking no action at all, will be at our sole discretion.


  4. YOU WAIVE AND HOLD HARMLESS COMPANY AND ITS AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, MEMBERS, OWNERS, LICENSEES AND SERVICE PROVIDERS FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY COMPANY OR ANY OF THE FOREGOING PARTIES DURING OR AS A RESULT OF ITS OR THEIR INVESTIGATIONS AND FROM ANY ACTIONS TAKEN AS A CONSEQUENCE OF INVESTIGATIONS BY SUCH PARTIES OR LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITIES.


  5. The Company may modify this Policy at any time. By continuing to use the website, Platform, or our services or by accessing your account after a revised version of the Policy has been posted, you agree to comply with the latest version of the Policy. In the event of a conflict between the Policy and any other Company Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy, this Policy will take precedence, but only to the extent required to resolve such conflict.
